Easter on the smallholding

 It is Easter Sunday. We are going to have an easy day on the smallholding with just essential tasks to do. Lamb for dinner.

  1. Thanks for sharing the great recording. Have a happy Easter and enjoy your fresh lamb. When I was a little girl in England, my grandmother fetched her mint out of the garden and we would chop it to make mint sauce. She would make a baked suet batter to go with the lamb, along with the usual roast potatoes and veggies.

    2. Due to being born in the war I lived in various places, Yorkshire as a pre-schooler, Surrey, then Middlesex and then Berkshire before I married. In Canada we ended up in the same township for over 50 years and have lived in our present home for 33 years - stability at last!
